Volunteer Coordinator — Coney Island Mermaid Parade.

For two years I managed the volunteers for the oldest art parade in the country. This involved sourcing volunteers, identifying volunteer needs, and managing day-of. Communication to volunteers and festival staff had to be clear, concise and useful. I had to be ready to solve any last minute needs and make trade-off decisions efficiently and without an impact to the experience of parade participants or onlookers.
